THERMATIC automatic climate control automatically uses temperature gauges and sensors to regulate the temperature and ventilation for the driver and front passenger. For example a sun sensor on the windscreen continuously registers the intensity and direction of sunlight. Two air outlets at the rear end of the centre console improve the comfort in the rear. An air recirculation switch and a combination filter with activated charcoal which keeps out even the finest dust particles ensure good air quality. Glove compartment cooling is also standard.

With the THERMOTRONIC[1] multi-zone automatic climate control separate temperatures can be set using individual controls for the driver, front passenger and rear compartment. Additional air outlets in the B-pillar and a compact booster fan underneath the centre console can be adjusted manually to produce the desired temperature. There are also three climate styles (DIFFUSE, MEDIUM and FOCUS) available for selection in automatic mode. You can use these modes to adjust the interior climate to your individual preferences.
