The C-Class stands for outstanding ride comfort.

And yet our engineers set out to make it even better. The new C-Class is now fitted for the first time with a selective damping system, which uses a harder or softer damper set-up depending on the driving situation and road surface – fully automatically on each individual wheel. Consequently, the ride is much smoother than with a conventional steel suspension, especially on poor road surfaces.

Low interior noise is also a crucial aspect in relaxed motoring. To block out wind noise even more effectively from the interior of the C-Class, we have consistently optimized numerous details on the body, looking at issues such as design, extra sound installation and sealing.
