Red Cliff II Tugs At Zung Fu Customers’ Heartstrings
World-renowned film director John Woo’s latest movie Red Cliff II is an epic story told with breath-taking scenes of vast scope and proportion. It is the sequel to Red Cliff, which was released in July 2008, and features more of the magnificent war scenes of the first movie. Zung Fu invited 500 valued customers to enjoy the much-anticipated sequel at special screening sections on January 17 and 18 at UA Times Square. Judging from their reactions, they were captivated by the movie’s power and tension.

Red Cliff II continues to relate the Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms, in which the delicate balance of power between the three rival kingdoms is about to break. Strong armies gather at the Red Cliffs along the Long River’s shore, fighting one another on land and water and attempting to outdo each other in terms of intelligent tactics and well-equipped forces. Viewers at the screenings were thrilled by the brilliantly-shot series of fierce battles which made up the legendary Battle of the Red Cliffs in Chinese history.
