Mercedes-Benz Models Meet High Environmental Standards Regular Servicing Helps With Fuel Efficiency
Looking after the environment is the responsibility of everyone – and Mercedes-Benz vehicles are some of the cleanest on the road, complying with the world’s most stringent emission systems.

European governments are particularly strict on polluters – whether they are factories or individuals – and the German government has long been a leader in the green movement. Likewise, the nation’s most renowned luxury-vehicle manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz, is far ahead of the game.

All Mercedes-Benz cars that have rolled off the production line in recent years are fully compliant with the ultra-strict Euro 4 standards that aim to cut down the amount of pollutants caused by cars, trucks and buses.

Expert Technicians
It is not just a matter of meeting the Euro standards – the levels have to be maintained, and doing this requires expert technicians who fully understand the procedures. Needless to say Zung Fu service centres in Hong Kong are fitted out with the necessary equipment, and highly trained personnel who can follow the rigidly-defined procedures.

As well as helping the planet, it makes economic sense to ensure your vehicle is properly serviced: a well-running engine means better fuel efficiency. Older vehicles might not be capable of meeting the rigid European standards of today, but they will perform far better if they receive regular attention from Zung Fu technicians.

It is easy to organise. Zung Fu has a service package for local Mercedes-Benz cars that can cost as little as $1,600 for a three-year old C200 model, a modest amount to ensure a tip-top condition car that runs smoothly.

Recycling Measures
When undertaking work on all vehicles, Zung Fu adheres to strict procedures to lessen any potentially harmful effects on the environment. All used lubrication oil and brake fluid is stored and delivered to a recycling company; excess thinner in paint materials is, likewise, recycled using special equipment in the workshop. Charcoal filters are installed in all paint booths in order to remove the negative impact of vaporised organic solvent in adjoining areas during the spray-painting process.

Naturally, the spare parts used in Zung Fu centres are imported from Mercedes-Benz factories in Germany; all components are designed to use environmentally-friendly materials. Mercedes-Benz batteries, for example, have extremely good protection that eliminates the chances of acid spills.

The design of all Mercedes-Benz components always involves maximising performance which, in turn, minimises fuel consumption and reduces the amount of harmful gases emitted in everyday driving.

In addition, the renowned commitment to safety by Mercedes-Benz means that engineers are constantly looking at potential problems in new ways. Owners of Mercedes-Benz vehicles can set off on their journeys knowing that they are in one of the world’s best engineered cars, with impressive environmentally-friendly credentials.
